WEC announces 2011 Christmas Card Design Contest

Wiregrass Electric Cooperative (WEC) is sponsoring its fourth annual Christmas Card Art Contest. 

Pictured here is the 2010 winner, Emily Jones of Cottonwood.

The winning design will be featured on WEC's Christmas card that will be mailed to friends and associates of the cooperative, and the student will be featured in Wiregrass Electric’s Alabama Living magazine and on our website at www.wiregrass.coop.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place designs.  Each student that enters will receive a gift item.  One winning design will be selected from each school to receive a prize package. 

All students in area schools grades Kindergarten through fifth grade are eligible to enter.
