Misti Dixon

Misti Dixon joined Wiregrass Electric Cooperative in 2014 as an Accountant and ascended to the role of Vice President of Finance & Accounting in 2024. A native of Chancellor, Alabama, Misti holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, earned in 2010 from Troy University-Troy. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Troy University – Dothan in 2012.
Her professional credentials include certifications as a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Utility Accountant. Over her fourteen-year career in accounting, she has garnered substantial experience, with a decade dedicated to the cooperative sector. In her current capacity, Misti oversees all fiscal responsibilities of the cooperative, including finance, accounting, capital credits, and purchasing.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Misti is a published author. She balances her demanding career with her personal life, having been married to her high school sweetheart, Lance Dixon, for fourteen years. Together, they have two children, Guilianna and Max. In her spare time, Misti enjoys writing and spending time at Disney World with her family.
