Misti Dixon

Misti Dixon joined Wiregrass Electric Cooperative in January 2014 and was named Vice President of Finance & Accounting in 2024. With nearly 15 years of experience in the accounting field, including more than 12 years in the electric cooperative industry, Misti brings extensive financial and utility accounting experience to her role. She currently oversees the Cooperative’s finance, accounting, capital credits, and purchasing functions.

A native of Chancellor, Alabama, Misti holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting, both from Troy University. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Utility Accountant. In 2026, Misti was recognized by the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce as an Elite Under 40 honoree.

Outside of WEC, Misti is a published author. She and her high school sweetheart, Lance, have been married since 2010 and have two children, Guilianna and Max. She enjoys writing and spending time at Disney World with her family.
