Southeast Alabama Community Action Partnership (SEACAP), offers the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program to help eligible households manage their energy bills. This program is designed to ease the burden of home energy expenses and help you through tough times.
SEACAP assists residents of Southeast Alabama in Houston, Coffee, Geneva, Henry, and Barbour counties through a range of services. In addition to energy assistance, SEACAP offers:
Monthly food assistance for eligible individuals aged 60 and older.
Help with utilities, rent, mortgage, shelter, and food during emergencies.
Guidance on budgeting and tips to reduce energy costs
Emergency food supplies for those in need
Like Wiregrass Electric Cooperative (WEC), SEACAP cares about its community. For more information or to see if you qualify for assistance, visit the SEACAP’s website or call (334) 347-0881.
To discuss payment options, like prepaid or levelized billing, call (800) 239-4602. 1 of WEC's member service representatives will be happy to assist you.
