Take Care & Move Over

The safety of our employees is a top priority for Wiregrass Electric Cooperative (WEC), and lineworkers are especially at risk. Help keep them safe by following Alabama’s Move Over Law.

When you come upon a utility crew working along the right of way, please move your vehicle over to the next lane if it’s safe to do so. If moving over isn’t possible, slow down to 15 miles per hour—10 miles per hour if the posted speed limit is 20 mph or less.
