Stronger Together

At Wiregrass Electric Cooperative (WEC), we are stronger when we work together.

From the customer service representative to the employee running a forklift in the warehouse, the dispatcher handling outage reports, and the lineworker out in the field, WEC employees work hard every day to keep this cooperative operating efficiently.

When our members take steps to control their electricity use, especially during peak demand times, we all benefit.

We partner with our communities to make the Wiregrass better, supporting grants for volunteer fire departments and local nonprofits. We work with local chambers of commerce to recruit new businesses because we know we are stronger when we work as a region.

That’s why we chose the theme “Stronger Together” for our 2025 Annual Meeting, set for October 10. When we all work toward the common good, great things can happen for all of us.

For 86 years, we have been your electric provider, and we are proud to collaborate with our members to secure a reliable electricity service at the most affordable rate possible.
