We know you love your trees, but proactive tree management is essential to ensure safety and prevent power outages during severe weather. Here’s how you can help minimize the need for trimming while keeping your trees and our power lines safe:

Plant Trees in the Right Place.

Trees that will grow less than 40 feet tall should be planted at least 25 feet away from power lines.

Don’t Block Pad-Mounted Transformers.

Plant shrubs at least 10 feet from transformer doors and 4 feet from transformer sides.

Report Dangerous Branches

If you spot a tree or branch close to power lines, please let us know. Early identification helps us address potential dangers before they lead to larger issues, especially during storms.
