This charge reflects your home’s highest demand set between the hours of 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on any day in the month (November through February) that WEC sets its coincidental peak demand with our wholesale power supplier. If your home electrical demand exceeds 3 kilowatts (kW) between these hours during this month, a charge of .50 cents per kW will apply. This charge will remain on each subsequent bill until March 2025, at which time your peak demand will be re-calculated.
