J. Everette Stewart is a retired aviation inspector who now works as a cattle rancher. He lives in Chancellor with his wife, Glenda. They have two daughters, Tammy Stewart and Danncey Wood, who with her husband, Brad, are the parents of Brady Wood.
The Stewarts are members of El Bethel Baptist Church, where Stewart serves as the personnel chairman. That role allows him to work on community projects.
“I have been blessed by God, and he has been so good to me,” he says. “I like to do what I can to help someone in need.”
Stewart has seen the great work that Wiregrass Electric Cooperative’s Operation Round Up has done in his community, and he says it is an honor for him to now be able to serve on the organization’s board.
