Employees honored at luncheon

Each year, Wiregrass Electric Cooperative recognizes lineworkers with a luncheon for Lineman Appreciation Day, taking the opportunity to thank them and all employees for their hard work year-round.
“We have a great team of people who work each day to ensure our members’ needs are served,” CEO Brad Kimbro says. “They are the ones who keep things flowing smoothly.”
During the luncheon, Board of Trustees President Kip Justice told employees they “are the co-op.”
“Y’all are who members see, who they call,” he said.
