America’s milestone. Each year on July 4, our country celebrates its independence. It’s been 250 years since the Founding Fathers ratified the words of the Declaration of Independence.

As long as there are people who are homeless, hungry or in need, the Rev. Steve Skidmore plans to be in the thick of things helping those people.

High school students passed around insulated gloves and a cut cable, inspecting the components making up a power line. A few took rides in the bucket of a utility truck, feeling the sway all too familiar to lineworkers who work up high.

Ready to respond. Each year, we recognize our lineworkers for the work they do. Their jobs come with the most risk of any here at Wiregrass Electric Cooperative, but we understand it takes all of our employees to serve our members.
