By now, the 2024 Wiregrass Electric Cooperative (WEC) Annual Meeting packet should have arrived in your mailbox ahead of the meeting on Friday, October 18.

Your packet contains several key items:

• 2024 Annual Report — This report covers WEC’s efforts in powering our community, focusing on reliability, economic growth, excellent service, engagement, community, and financial strength. It aims to keep you, our member-owners, updated on the co-op’s strategic actions over the past year.
• Voting materials — Learn more about the candidates running for the board of trustees in Districts 2, 5 and 8. You’ll also find a ballot to cast your vote for the District 8 trustee.
• Registration card — This signifies your ticket to the annual meeting. It includes mail-in instructions, and returning it automatically enters you to win various prizes.

The 2024 Wiregrass Electric Cooperative Annual Meeting will be livestreamed. Here’s what to know:

• The business meeting will be held at our Hartford office.
• A livestream will begin on Facebook at noon.
• A recording will be accessible for later viewing.
• On-site registration is available on October 18, but we highly recommend using the mail-in registration option provided in your packet.

Mail in your registration card using the provided envelope by October 16 to receive a $5 bill credit. Plus, all registered members will be entered into a drawing for multiple large bill credits, including 2 top prizes of $500.
