Charitable Golf Tournament Tees Up for 4th Year

Register your team for this year’s Operation Round Up Charitable Golf Tournament, set for Thursday, September 4.

Since 2015, Wiregrass Electric Cooperative's (WEC) Operation Round Up Charitable Foundation has been able to provide grants and scholarships to local organizations and students, thanks to our members who voluntarily round up their monthly bills. WEC launched a charitable golf tournament to supplement the ORU efforts.

Join us for 18 holes of fun on the Highland Oaks Golf Course in Dothan. Registration starts at 10 a.m. with lunch at 11 a.m. and a bucket truck ball drop at 11:30 a.m. Shotgun start is at noon.

Along with the award for the bucket truck drop winner and other valuable door prizes, WEC will also award prizes for:

  • The top 3 teams in net scoring and the team with the top overall gross scorer.
  • Closest to the pin.

Mulligans are available 2 for $20 with a limit of 1 per person.

Sponsorships available:

  • Platinum, $5,000;
  • Gold, $2,500;
  • Silver, $1,500;
  • Hole sponsorships, $150 each.
