Scholarship Deadline Approaching

Wiregrass Electric Cooperative is accepting applications for the 2026 Electric Cooperative Foundation Inc. scholarship.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday, February 20.

The cooperative will award one $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior who plans to pursue a postsecondary, technical, or vocational education. To qualify, the applicant must be a dependent child of a WEC member.

Applications are available at any WEC office, as well as from high school guidance counselors. They can also be found on our website.
