Get a Kit that Fits

Spring is arriving! While the weather will be beautiful most days, the season also has some stormy days. Keeping a few items stockpiled in your home and car will help your family live comfortably if the power goes out or roads become impassable!

Basic items:

• Water (one gallon per person per day; minimum of three days’ worth recommended)
• Nonperishable food items like canned goods
• Manual can opener
• Flashlights
• First-aid kit
• Cellphone with chargers/battery backups
• Weather radio
• Batteries

Make the emergency kit your own with items your family specifically needs or wants. Prescription medications, pet supplies, and books, games, or puzzles are all great items to include!
