Get a Kit that Fits
Spring is arriving! While the weather will be beautiful most days, the season also has some stormy days. Keeping a few items stockpiled in your home and car will help your family live comfortably if the power goes out or roads become impassable!
Basic items:
- Water (one gallon per person per day; minimum of three days’ worth recommended)
- Nonperishable food items like canned goods
- Manual can opener
- Flashlights
- First-aid kit
- Cellphone with chargers/battery backups
- Weather radio
- Batteries
Make the emergency kit your own with items your family specifically needs or wants. Prescription medications, pet supplies, and books, games, or puzzles are all great items to include!
