Brad Kimbro, Chief Executive Officer

Brad Kimbro is stepping up as CEO after 18 years with Wiregrass Electric Cooperative. His path from chief operating officer and vice president of member services to the helm is marked by a deep commitment to innovation and operational excellence. Known for his strategic vision and member-centric focus, Brad’s ascension reflects his ability to lead WEC in a dynamic industry. As CEO, he is set to represent WEC on the boards of PowerSouth Energy Cooperative and Alabama Rural Electric Association, steering the cooperative toward new heights of success and service.

Bethany Retherford, Vice President of Human Resources & Administrative Services

Bethany Retherford brings more than a decade of experience to her new role as vice president of human resources and administrative services. She earned a master’s degree in human resources management from Troy University, and she has led WEC’s human resources and compliance with fairness and accountability. Her expertise is crucial in shaping strategies for talent management and organizational efficiency, ensuring smooth and effective operations.

Jason Thrash, Vice President of Engineering & Operations

Jason Thrash, a University of South Alabama electrical engineering graduate, joined WEC in 2011. His innovative use of drone technology and completion of the Robert I. Kabat Management Internship Program highlights his forward-thinking approach and commitment to member service. As vice president of engineering and operations, Jason plays a crucial role in advancing WEC’s operational and engineering strategies.

Stevie Sauls, Vice President of Member Services & Communication

Stevie Sauls, with a rich 30-year tenure in the cooperative world, is WEC’s new vice president of member services and communication. His extensive experience, including a background in industrial electricity and drafting and design technology, enhances his role in improving member services and communication. Stevie’s decades-long commitment to WEC underscores his dedication to building strong member relations and effective communication strategies.

Lisa LeNoir, Chief Financial Officer

Lisa LeNoir, with WEC since 2005, has dutifully served as chief financial officer since 2014. Her educational background in business administration and accounting, coupled with her certification as a utility accountant, equips her to adeptly manage WEC’s financial affairs. Overseeing accounting, billing, and information systems, Lisa ensures the cooperative’s financial stability and operational efficiency.
