A proposed update to Wiregrass Electric Cooperative (WEC) bylaws will provide stability to members who have faced financial challenges resulting from an outstanding debt.
Your “yes” vote allows WEC, at its sole discretion, to offset bad debt on a member’s account with the present-day value of that member’s patronage capital (capital credits).
WEC believes a yes vote to this bylaw change is essential for WEC’s ability to provide excellent service to its members in difficult situations.
