



Board meetings are typically held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the headquarters in Hartford, Alabama, unless another meeting location, time, and/or date is set. Check regularly for changes in the schedule.
Members are welcome to attend Board meetings; however, we request that interested members call in advance at (800) 239-4602 so that Wiregrass Electric Cooperative (WEC) may make appropriate accommodations since meetings are held after office hours.
The purpose of a Board of Trusteeโs Meeting is to conduct business of the Cooperative. In order to run an efficient and timely meeting, the Board requests your assistance in adhering to the following Rules of Conduct and Meeting Protocol.
Wiregrass Electric Cooperativeโs Chief Executive Officer and his staff are available to schedule a meeting with any member to resolve any problems or to address any concerns.
After the speaker has addressed the Board, the Board will take items raised under advisement.
The Chair of the Board conducts the meeting.
Guests are not allowed to address the Board unless registered as a speaker. Speakers will register their name, address, telephone number, and email address in the meetingโs logbook prior to the start of the meeting.
Once a speaker has been recognized by the Chair, the speaker has 5 minutes to make their comments.
Speakers are required to stand at the podium when addressing the Board.
All meetings are at 6:15 p.m. in Hartford unless otherwise listed.
